We here at Trusty Chords Music HQ  have been hinting at the fact that this might happen and we are over the moon to finally announce that we will be releasing an Australian version of UK band DOGS cracking debut album ‘Turn Against This Land’. Originally released in Europe on Island Records in 2005 DOGS debut album recieved critical acclaim from everywhere! The snarling, vitriolic indie punk LP was a snapshot into wordsmith Johnny Cooke’s observations on what it’s like to live and love in England this side of the millennium. According to Clash magazine, “Turn Against This Land is an easy mix of fiery punk and anthemic rock that has more hooks than The Ramones on a fishing trip”.  The Sunday Times marked them as ‘Britains most exhilarating band’ and the NME said they’re ‘Totally irresistable’!

Move over Artic Monkeys and Bloc Party! DOGS are snapping at your heels and come early 2010

Australian music lovers will get to experience their bite first hand with the release of ‘Turn Against This Land’! The Australian version of the album will come with two bonus tracks not released on the original version. Check out the  Trusty Chords Music myspace page soon to hear the lead track – “London Bridge” and also see the film clip to go with it.
