We’re proud as punch to be working with someone of the calibere as Black Is The Colour (AKA Steve Milligan). Many people will know Steve from his time spent in Melbourne Punk/Hardcore legends – Mid Youth Crisis. Come November 16th though, we will unleash the Debut EP for Steve’s solo pursuit and we promise – you wont be disappointed! Joined by some fantastic Melbourne musicians – Adrian Lombardi (Blueline Medic), Sam Johnson (Lead Sketch Union), Mark Jennings (The Currency) and Bec Martin (Time Vampires), Black Is The Colour is the work of a man determined to get his point of view across and tell a decent honest story.
While the acoustic songs of Black is the Colour may be more stripped his astute observations are no less challenging or intense than his days fronting Mid Youth Crisis. At times poignant ‘New Wave’ at others scathing ‘Critical Necessity’. What ties the songs on Black is the Colour together is their realness.

Black Is The Colours self titled EP hits stores on November 16th and is proudly distributed by Poison City Records. Tour dates will be announced soon.
